Friendfeed beta, My Two Cents
Monday, April 6, 2009 at 22:37 Friendfeed
issued a new beta this morning and a lot of people have been playing with it and making comments. I thought that I would add my two cents to the conversation. First overall I like the it, however there are some changes or additions that I would like to see, and they are as follows:
- There needs to be a way to do a mash-up of multiple filters
- Need to be able to control where the feeds are coming from, for example twitter feeds
- Need to be able to choose and edit multiple friends at a time
- Would be nice to control rate of flow
- I like the add photo feature, but wondering if the option to add videos will be included
- Don't like that once you filter, if you go back to edit the original inputs are gone.
- The filter box needs to be bigger, it is difficult to see what you have entered.
- Someone needs to create a how to use Friendfeed tutorial,(hmm, note to self)
Despite my above complaints I really do like the new Friendfeed. I will admit that Friendfeed is not for everyone and it did take me some time to set it up to my satisfaction, and I continue to do some minor tweaking. However, once you do have it set up, it is a great way to follow a conversation or an individual or a set group of individuals. Twitter maybe easier to understand but I like Friendfeed better.
